DID’s Assistant Professor, Hans Tan has been selected by Asia Talents
DID’s Assistant Professor, Hans Tan has been selected by Asia Talents and invited to showcase his work at Bangkok.
Hans has actively engaged in curatorial work, and has produced exhibitions with a keen interest in local design culture such as “Rest & Relax” for Singapore Changi Airport and co- curated “MadeForSam” for Singapore Art Museum. Through school projects with the works of students he has produced exhibitions most recently as “P for Paint” for NUS Museum, and “L for Luxury” at Singaplural. His penchant for design pedagogy includes developing imaginative thinking tools that provide novel approaches to the design process based on generative deformations, use of language and systematic reflection. He is an assistant professor at the Division of Industrial Design, National University of Singapore.
